THE MINT SYRUP

1 CUP RINSED AND ROUGHLY CHOPPED FRESH MINT

1 CUP WATER

1 CUP GRANULATED SUGAR

COMBINE THE WATER AND THE SUGAR IN A SAUCE PAN OVER MEDIUM HEAT

COOK STIRRING OFTEN UNITL THE SUGAR IS TOTALLY DISSOLVED

REMOVE FROM HEAT - STIR IN MINT

LET MINT STEEP IN SYRUP COVERED AT ROOM TEMP

STRAIN MINT OUT OF SYRUP AND REFRIGERATE

THE SYRUP WILL KEEP FOR ONE WEEK IN THE FRIDGE
